William has acquired a lifetime portfolio on Pacific Northwest rivers, lakes and the ocean. Private and professional river boating, rafting, inflatable kayaking as well as ocean surf launches are ongoing pursuits. William is in his own element on river waters and serene lakes. Professional tenures commenced with the US Coast Guard air-sea rescue, continue with federal, state and tribe-state level river management plan design and implementation. William is a vanguard of what has become known as the "eco-system approach" to environmental river system management.
William's river boating and rafting instructor career began in 1971 and has continued to present day. He is the co-founder of Outdoor Ventures river training syllabus and boater registry. William is thought of as a "true riverman" and is dedicated to performance based education.

Robb Grubb

Robb is the co-founder of Outdoor Ventures and its in-depth training syllabus.
Robb grew up rowing Northwest Washington rivers in wood drift boats. His father taught him how to row as soon as he was physically able to pick up an oar. Robb thought that this was the coolest thing in the world, what Robb did not know was that his father had an alterior motive. If Robb learned how to row, then his Dad could sit up front and fish!
To this day, Robb is still rowing boats of all sorts, paddling rafts and enjoying every minute spent on the river.

Andy Hardwick

Andy is a fisherman, long time river runner, white water boater, Outdoor Ventures river training alumni, OV guide / instructor, and river rat extraordinaire.
Andy is the owner of Outdoor Supply Company, which supplies outdoor products (catchy name, eh?) to the river world. He also manufactures Tuf-Cat Pontoon Boats. Fisherman and recreational boaters take advantage of his fishing and river running expertise to select the right boat for their specific needs on the water. From the perfect still water fly fishing platform to a white water thrill machine, to a steelhead plugging and drifting river boat, He can design and build an inflatable boat for you. Low water? Keep right on fishing with a Tuf-Cat inflatable pontoon boat. "We go when others can't."

Charles Bartlemay

Lloyd is the inventor of the Power Pull oarlock system. This oarlock has revolutionized ease of rowing on lakes and mellow river waters. Lloyd is a pioneer when it comes to providing river runners with useful tools and accessories.

Logan, known as "The Centinal", on the river, is calm under pressure, content when fed properly and just plain happy when rubbed behind the ear.

Kenny King

Kenny has been running rivers for over 55 years! In 1993, he was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in the "Legendary Guides Category". Kenny has been guiding folks down Northwest rivers most of his life fishing for salmon, trout and steelhead. He was instrumental in providing knowledge and skill in developing the driftboat for running rivers. If you have the pleasure of visiting with him on the river, take a look at his oars. They have the smallest wood blades you will ever see! This tells you he truly guides the boat down the river with technique and elegance.

Decker
TOTAL RIVER MILES: Estimated 200
Decker came to the river as a seeing-eye-dog drop out. His Alpha qualities dropped him into the lap of our good human friend, Seth. He was saved from the life of a servant, destined to eventually become a lab again! Decker is a couch potato at heart, however you will see him on the river occasionally, relaxing with the human counter parts.
